A Little About Me

I like making things look pretty. I’ve customized stuff ranging from shirts, shoes, and phone cases to someone’s garden fence. All these tangible goodies yet nothing digital or scrollable that can be enjoyed endlessly by anyone with wifi.

Since my previous experience stems from graphic design I really enjoy the UI aspect of design. I feel a website’s most important impression is the way it looks. I have one main goal in UI and that is to help lessen the amount of boring and ugly sites out there. Revamping a site with a completely new look and feel while producing a work of art both my client and myself are proud of is the name of the game.

Before the UX/UI journey, I attended a community college and earned my Associates of Arts for graphic design back in 2016. Since then I worked a main job full time while taking on freelance work on the side for the past 10 years. My schooling taught me some of my most treasured skills as an artist. I was trained classical techniques like contour line, still life drawing, portraiture, color theory, use of negative space in composition, and more. I think I can translate what I learned from the arts to web design and I’d love the opportunity to showcase what I can do.
